Geoteamz makes individual departments more productive and efficient by promoting collaboration within. It also allows collaboration between departments. A fallen tree may be of interest to the police department so they can route the traffic around it. It is also of interest to public works so they can remove it. There are many such inter-dependencies in the operation of a city (please see DOT section for another compelling example).

This is possible because a department can selectively share information with other departments. Information enters at one point (the first department to acquire it) and automatically becomes available to other departments who need it. This reduces the need for double entry and associated errors and delays.
